Frontend plugins

Introduction

Frontend plugins are components that can be dropped into your OTT platform. They are meant to enhance the basic functionality that Motto’s standard components already offers. For example, you may already use the Motto video player, but you also want to show a scoreboard overlay on top of your live video feed. Frontend plugins are the way to achieve this.

Here is a non-exhaustive list of frontend plugins:

• Sports overlays in the video player (scoreboard, timer, goal announcements, etc.);
• Highlight panels next to a video player, listing all interesting moments in a match;
• Seekbar markers on the video timeline for easy navigation to key moments.
